Educators and entrepreneurs recently spent a day exploring the future of learning and teaching at the Beta Teacher event hosted by EDC. We were lucky enough to join 20 other education technology startups and an engaged crowd of teachers interested in expanding the technological horizons of their classrooms.

For us this event created a phenomenal window into the future of education writ large, through the amazing work of our peers (see for example how Hstry is updating history teaching through social-media-like tools). And we also got to meet many more teachers eager to bring cutting-edge science into their schools.
The miniPCR team was invited by EDC, LearnLaunch, and MassCue to showcase miniPCR technology and how it can transform science teaching in the classroom. EDC is focused on design, implementation, and evaluation of programs that improve education and economic opportunity worldwide. LearnLaunch is a Boston-based EdTech accelerator and incubator. MassCUE is the Massachusetts Computer Users Education network. Thanks to all of you!
